Going Home

I will be gone but hopefully not  forgotten. Leaving to visit with my Mom who is on Hospice care at her home. The end days are near. Please don't give up on me. I will be back to cry on your shoulder and vent and rage..and in time sweet ..sweet time to find the humor in life once again.

“It is a curious thing, the death of a loved one. We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know. It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is. Your foot falls down, through the air, and there is a sickly moment of dark surprise as you try and readjust the way you thought of things.”

  1. It's hard to endure the passing of our loved ones, whether it's expected, or not. Be glad you are going to be with her. My Mother was living with me, when she passed on and I wouldn't trade being able to be with her, for anything. I wasn't with my Dad, when his time came (three weeks later) and I've always regretted it.

God bless you and your Mother. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and will be here if you need to talk.
